BSc (Hons) Economics student Archie Lewis worked at Lubrizol on placement, gaining experience working as a procurement specialist. 

'Originally, I didn't have a plan to do a placement year. After doing some research and seeing how valuable it could be I decided to go ahead and do it.

'Dealing with internal stakeholders, suppliers, managing the relationships, talking to account managers - it's given me that real world experience I would not have been able to get in a classroom.'
