“I landed work experience at the World Seniors Snooker Championship”

BSc (Hons) Computer Games Technologies students Luke, Charlie, Gergo and Aliyaan applied the skills learnt on their course to build their video game, Racecar Crashers, from scratch and become the first students in the UK to publish their game on PlayStation Store. 

With the support of Sheffield Hallam University's in-house game studio, Steel Minions, the team built the confidence, industry connections and hands-on experience to take their game to the next level.

“Steel Minions gave us access to PlayStation development kits and the opportunity to attend game events, and even appear on TV.”

“Our lecturers shared their industry experience and supported us to create Racecar Crashers for our final year module. It played a huge part in us graduating with first-class degrees.”
