Dr Craig Paterson is senior lecturer in criminology. Having worked for Group 4 Securicor for three years on the UK electronic offender monitoring programme, Craig left in 2001 to undertake his PhD on the role of surveillance technologies in criminal justice. Craig joined Sheffield Hallam University in January 2007 as a senior lecturer in criminology, having previously worked at the John Grieve Centre for Policing and Community Safety at Buckinghamshire New University. Craig acts as course leader for the UK-based professional doctorate in International Criminal Justice and the BA (Hons) Criminal Justice Practice.
