A sociology graduate from the University of Western Ontario (Canada), Jaime was also awarded a Masters degree in international criminology by the University of Sheffield. Her current PhD research, which is nearing completion, focuses on illegal drug use among older adults. Jaime has been teaching in the criminology subject group at Sheffield Hallam University since 2005.
