Exploring the spatial effects of consumerism, Jonathan Herring's large scale photographs analyse the way the spaces we live and work in are shaped by consumerism, which in turn shapes us.

Sheffield Institute of Arts gallery is a distinctive setting for high quality temporary exhibitions. We support the Institute's research and teaching through showcasing the very best creative practice.

We have three exhibition spaces within the building - our large double height gallery, a separate gallery upstairs and the flexible space of the atrium
