Student recruitment agency

We promise to help you find sandwich placements and part-time work while you study.

Our on-site recruitment agency, Hallam Talent, will find roles and support you with job applications and interviews.

They will also support you with finding and securing graduate-level roles once you have completed your course.

Employability guaranteed

You are guaranteed a paid internship* if you aren’t in work or further study 12 months after successfully completing your course - beyond that, you’ll have access to lifelong careers support.

Our employability team offers guidance on applications, interviews and career planning for as long as you need it.

*To be eligible for Sheffield Hallam University's graduate internship scheme you must meet all of the following criteria:

  • be a UK student
  • have started your course from September 2026
  • studied and successfully completed a 3 or 4 year undergraduate degree
  • not be in work or further study 12 months after successfully completing your course
  • have engaged with the Sheffield Hallam careers and employability service.
