What can I do with an art and design degree?

A degree course in art and design helps you develop the skills to innovate, problem-solve and communicate across industries. Whether you're passionate about fine art, graphic design, product design, fashion, illustration or animation, our courses in art and design provide the expertise, tools and inspiration to shape your practice and future career.

A degree in art and design opens doors to a wide range of creative careers, such as:

  • Animation: 2D and 3D animation, visual effects, concept art, character design, motion graphics and storyboarding
  • Fashion, management and communication: Fashion design, styling, creative direction, print design and visual merchandising
  • Fashion Design: Womenswear design, menswear design, digital design, creative direction, garment technology, studio and production management, fashion illustration and styling
  • Fine art: Art practice, curation, museums, set design, film production and art therapy
  • Graphic design: Branding, UX/UI design, editorial, motion graphics, typography and advertising
  • Illustration: children’s books, surface pattern design, digital publishing, motion, interactive and games illustration and art direction

You'll be based in our fully equipped and purpose-designed studios, where you can experiment with the latest equipment, technology and techniques and hone your craft.

In our cutting-edge studios, workshops, and digital spaces, you'll have access to industry replicated 2D and 3D animation studios, pro level cameras, sound and recording equipment, CNC machines and 3D printers, Fine art and photography studios, screen printing, sewing machines and garment hardware and much more.
