We are a dynamic new department with a focus on contemporary practice and thought in the fields of Media Arts and Humanities. We are equally at home with historical or textual analysis as we are with designing games or creating films, texts or shows.

We are leaders in creative and production-based education and help advance knowledge through our world-class research in English, History and Media. We have close working relationships with industry and sector experts and give our students access to the latest techniques, theories and applications in their chosen disciplines.
