We're backed by the leading minds in business

At Sheffield Business School we have an advisory board made up of knowledgeable and experienced business people from across the private and public sectors.

They bring an external perspective to our strategy, making sure we continue to be relevant to our students, business, public sector, third sector and government.

The role of the advisory board is to

  • develop links between Sheffield Business School and the wider business, academic and policy communities
  • help establish and develop our position within networks – locally, nationally and internationally
  • act as a sounding board for new ideas and developments
  • challenge our assumptions and operating routines
  • provide advice and guidance on our research programme
