Sheffield Business School benefits from an advisory board made up of senior leaders and experienced business professionals, who are advocates of our vision and mission and help us to raise the profile and reputation of the school.
Our members hold senior leadership positions across our wide-ranging networks, including regional, national and international businesses, local and central government, UK and international education providers, public sector and not-for-profit organisations.
What our advisory board does
Our advisory board:
- provides an external perspective on the Schools’ vision, aspirations and strategy
- develops our wider engagement and networks with businesses, academic communities, and policy makers, regionally, nationally and globally
- challenges our assumptions and acts as a sounding board for new ideas and portfolio development
- provides advice and guidance on our applied research, knowledge exchange, portfolio of courses and continuous professional development (CPD) programmes.
We benefit from the guidance and insights of our members. As a result, we remain relevant to students, businesses, the public sector, and government.
