Summary

I am a Quantity Surveyor, with over 17 years industry experience, I have a vast knowledge of quantity surveying, procurement, and supply chain management and I teach various aspects of quantity surveying on the undergraduate and degree apprenticeship courses.

About

While studying a part time BSc Hons degree in Quantity Surveying at Sheffield Hallam University, I began my career as a QS degree apprentice at Balfour Beatty, working on large healthcare and education projects across the country. I then also took on supply chain management and procurement delivery alongside quantity surveying to delivery strategic solutions.

Throughout my career I have worked on projects from £12m to £360m across various sectors, for customers, main contractors and sub- contractors.

I joined Sheffield Hallam University as a Senior Lecturer specialising in all aspects of Quantity Surveying, and I bring a wealth of real life experience, knowledge and experience in all aspects of Quantity Surveying where I can put theory in to practice ensuring the students develop the skills and knowledge the built environment needs.
