About
I graduated from Sheffield Hallam in 2009 with a BSc (Hons) in Physical Education and Youth Sport.
I then completed a PGCE in secondary PE at Hallam, and was subsequently employed as a Lecturer in Sport at The Sheffield College, where I led a range of modules on the BTEC Sport/Sport and Exercise Science and Access to HE (Sport) courses.
I returned to Sheffield Hallam as a Lecturer in PE in 2013 and have taught on a number of modules across the BSc (Hons) Physical Education and School Sport undergraduate degree route.I currently lead the Level 5 Developing Professional Practice module and Level 6 Dissertation module. In my role as placement coordinator, I am responsible for managing the placement experience for all students on the course.
I completed an MA in Education at SHU in 2015 and began a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D) in 2016. The focus of this research is the experiences of primary PE specialist teachers.
