Working with the Director of the Doctoral School and colleagues across the University, her responsibilities include supporting PhD student recruitment and promotion of the University's doctoral offer; administrative oversight of the University's PhD scholarships, funding schemes and collaborative training partnerships, and contributing to activities on our support for researchers and the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers.

Sarah also participates in the University's gender equality and Athena Swan activities.

Joining Sheffield Hallam in 2006 as Business Manager in the Research and Innovation Office, Sarah has been in the Doctoral School team since 2015. Prior to 2006, she worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in universities and industry.
