I teach pedagogical issues in physical education and sport, applying theoretical concepts to practical contexts in athletics, aquatics and gymnastic activities. I also have professional interest in health-related physical activity issues of young people.

Current interests include the practices of PE teachers in schools that influence the participation of teenage pupils; occupational socialisation of PE teachers; embedding technology enhanced learning in PE pedagogy
