Summary

I joined Sheffield Institute of Education Research and Knowledge Exchange Centre (SIRKE) in January 2022, after having worked at the University of Sheffield. My research interests broadly focus on education and mental health, particularly children and young people’s attainment, mental health and wellbeing. I am also interested in music education, particularly in relation to children’s music engagement and the effect of music on people’s mental health and wellbeing. I have extensive experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, particularly skilled in questionnaire design, data collection, observations, interviews and thematic analysis.

I am also interested in music education, particularly in relation to children’s music engagement and the effect of music on people’s mental health and wellbeing.

I have extensive experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, particularly skilled in questionnaire design, data collection, observations, conducting interviews, and thematic analysis.

I have worked on the SIRKE project for the Youth Endowment Fund. Currently, I am working on numerous education-related research projects in the centre for clients such as the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) and the Department for Education (DfE).
