My research interests broadly focus on education and mental health, particularly children and young people’s attainment, mental health and wellbeing. I am also interested in music education, particularly in relation to children’s music engagement and the effect of music on people’s mental health and wellbeing.
I have extensive experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, particularly skilled in questionnaire design, data collection, observations, conducting interviews, and thematic analysis.
I have worked on the SIRKE project for the Youth Endowment Fund. Currently, I am working on numerous education-related research projects in the centre for clients such as the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) and the Department for Education (DfE).
