I am Principal Lecturer and Faculty Quality Coordinator in Mental Health Nursing here at Sheffield Hallam. My role involves leading on quality enhancement and quality assurance processes. I provide clear and consistent advice, am sought after and consulted on a wide range of complex issues, and have a reputation for fairness, consistency and high quality in all aspects of my work. I am also an experienced lecturer and 'inspirational teacher' with a very wide range of scholarly activity.

About

My role involves leading on quality enhancement and quality assurance processes including academic conduct, extenuating circumstances, accreditation for prior learning, chairing of subject assessment and ratification boards, modifications to existing provision, investigating student complaints, and course design & approval. I am an experienced, skilled and knowledgeable external reviewer, having completed external validation work and panel membership across a range of HEI's.

I provide clear and consistent advice, am sought after and consulted on a wide range of complex issues, and have a reputation for fairness, consistency and high quality in all aspects of my work. I am also an experienced lecturer and 'inspirational teacher' with a very wide range of scholarly activity. Among my many responsibilities as a Principal Lecturer are the line management of staff and management of staff sickness. My teaching evaluates very highly, commonly with 100% satisfaction rates for level of preparation, enthusiasm, organisation and approachability.
