Mohammed Dirisu is a published author, Law Lecturer and Researcher at the Helena Kennedy Centre for International Justice, Sheffield Hallam University, and holds an LLM, PgDip in Research, and PhD from the same institution. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB with Honours) degree from the University of Benin and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar after completing his practice qualification course at the Nigerian Law School.

He has special interests in Socio-legal Studies, Human rights, Social justice, Therapeutic Justice,  migrant rights, Business ethics, Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility. He also serves as a guest lecturer at the Botswanan Accountancy College where he delivers lectures on Human Rights and Ethics in Business.

He also serves as Co-chair of Manifest Diversity, a student-staff collaborative aimed at promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity within the Department of Law and Criminology.

He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB with Honours) degree from the University of Benin and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar after completing his practice qualification course at the Nigerian Law School. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
