Summary

I joined SIRG as a casual researcher in 2019 at the start of my undergraduate degree in Sport Business Management. Since then, I have worked on several projects with the team including on major sports events as well as an independent research project in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Having gained a first-class degree in 2022, I joined the SIRG team as a full-time Research Assistant. My research interests include women and girls in sport, inequality more widely, and the impacts of major cultural and sports events.

About

Since starting as a casual researcher in 2019 and more recently as a full time Research Assistant, I have gained insight into both qualitative and quantitative research in the UK and overseas. I have worked with a range of public sector and private sector clients and have been involved in aiding the development of stakeholders in female sport across North Harbour, Aotearoa New Zealand. Work I have been involved in includes a range of economic impact studies and development projects. I have experience in fieldwork for major sporting events including Wimbledon and The Open, for which I lead the data collection. I have also completed research project work for the DCMS (Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport). Key skills: fieldwork for major events, data collection and collation, and project development.
