Sarah Ward is a Research and Innovation Officer within the Social and Economic Research Institute, supporting the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research.

About

Sarah is a Research and Innovation Officer within the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research (CRESR) and has been with the centre since 2003.

Her role involves supporting project teams in the delivery of contract research and supporting the day-to-day operation of the centre. 

Since 2005, she has supported the centre by managing the formatting and design of CRESR outputs, including reports, journal articles, posters and conference materials. Sarah also manages the centres official website, as well as project specific websites, the internal staff intranet and the centres open access academic journal, People, Place and Policy (PPP). Sarah is the Journal Manager for PPP and supports the day-to-day operations of journal activities and has recently managed the successful application of PPP’s entry into the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).

She supports the process of reviewing outputs, managing internal REF processes and generally supporting the REF Coordinator, for Research Excellence Framework Unit of Assessment 13 - Architecture, Built Environment and Planning.
