Dr Yetunde Oluwatoyin Aderiye

Senior Lecturer

Toyin is a Senior Lecturer in Facilities Management and the course leader for the Executive MBA in Facilities Management. Her PhD focused on FM ‘Cultural Fit’ and Socialisation with major themes such as organisational culture, outsourcing and integration. She is from an industry background and has worked in both the Real Estate and FM sectors for over 8 years prior to joining Sheffield Hallam University. She believes FM needs both the currency of practice and the novelty of research in order to progress.

She is interested in the effects culture, motivation, people and service have on organisations particularly in FM. She is also interested in multidisciplinary research as they create richer results and have the potential for wider influence and reach. A strong believer in applied research, she enjoys tweaking established and new models/ ideas to solve modern issues. Toyin has published articles and is always happy to collaborate on research.
