Summary

As Pro-Vice Chancellor (Global & Academic Partnerships), Chris leads the University's strategy for both global engagement and academic partnerships, as well as overseeing the College of Social Sciences and the Arts. He is responsible for the development of collaborative provision with higher and further education partners in the UK and overseas, leading the University’s strategic partnership with La Trobe University, Melbourne.

About

Chris began his career in advertising in London and Rome with the Saatchi Group prior to establishing himself in the fields of arts and humanities. He has published several books and leda range of research, learning and teaching projects, including for the Arts and Humanities Research Council, the Arts Council and a range of international agencies.

Chris was previously a visiting professor in China, India and France, and co-Director of the Off the Shelf Festival of Words. He is currently on the Board of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths Learning, a flagship educational agency, created in partnership with the 'White Rose University Consortium'.
