This summer Sheffield Hallam University will be hosting the IMA Festival of Mathematics and its Applications, a two-day event which celebrates mathematics and all the wonderful things you can do with it. School groups and their teachers will be able to visit the festival on one or both days and take part in workshops, talks and a range of other activities.

With a packed programme on each day, you can explore the Charles Street building and watch talks from top mathematicians, meet SHU staff and hear about their research, design and create mathematical works of art, learn tricks from mathematical buskers, play a game of noughts and crosses against a sentient pile of matchboxes and get hands-on with some maths in action.
