Industrial design with applied technology (IDAT) 15 year reunion, class of 1996
Eight former Industrial design with applied technology (IDAT) students who graduated from Sheffield Hallam in 1996 met for a reunion at the Greystones Pub in Sheffield last month.
The group, who have not seen each other for fifteen years, included Jamie Tegerdine, Steve Manton, Craig Fletcher, Mark Dimond, John Li, Jon Mills, Anthony Jones and Benny Ho.
Whilst in their second year at Sheffield Hallam the group worked on a project in conjunction with Thorn Lighting to produce a luminaire design for high street retail outlets.
At the reunion party the alumni shared their stories from the last fifteen years over drinks and found that each person was pursing very different and unique career paths.
'There were many of us and we had a really good time. We had drinks in The Greystones where we shared many stories and caught up from the past 15 years. It felt like yesterday from when we were hanging out. This was cool and it was awesome to see them all doing well. Hopefully we can meet up again.' Benny Ho
After the reunion Benny from Taiwan visited some of his old tutors including Professor Paul Chamberlian and Mark Phillips.
