We are delighted to announce that thanks to the generosity of our alumni, our third annual telephone campaign has raised an amazing £75,000 to support beneficiaries of the Hallam Fund.

This year our student callers spoke to over 1500 alumni and exchanged stories of their time at Hallam, offered our callers valuable career advice, volunteered to be mentors and donated to the Hallam Fund. These donations will have a transformational impact on the lives of our students and researchers; offering scholarships to students from under-represented or disadvantaged backgrounds, providing bursaries to enable our students to access career enhancing opportunities, and supporting transformational research.

Our student callers loved speaking to you. It was a valuable opportunity for them to hear from a member of our alumni community and be inspired. Some callers spoke to alumni who studied the same course, or who were members of the same society or sports club, some were pleased to discover a mutual interest or memory of a shared favourite place in Sheffield.
