The programme of research ‘Deciphering the function of the human dihydrofolate reductase 2 gene’ has been awarded a BBSRC-SFI funding grant by the BBSRC.

Main project holders are Dr Anne Parle-McDermott (DCU, Ireland) and Professor Nicholas Green (UCL, London) with Dr Sue Campbell as collaborator.

The grant includes funding for a postdoctoral position which will be carried out at the BMRC looking at polysome analysis.
