CSI: Bradford was held on Thursday, 10th September 2015 at the National Media Museum in Bradford with an expected visitor number of over 4000 over the course of the week. It was intended to promote the work of researchers in the field of forensics and crime prevention.

Dr Simona Francese was invited by the event organisers to inspire and increase the knowledge of Key Stage 3 students, and together with Dr Rob Bradshaw, talked specifically about what fingermarks are, how they are currently used in forensic science and how MALDI MS can be used to obtain additional information from these samples.
