Pharmaron Symposium  speakersPharmaron Symposium and Forums are one-day innovation-focused events featuring industry and academic experts. The goal of each symposium and forum is to cultivate and strengthen Pharmaron’s drug R&D abilities by gaining a better understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry’s strategy and tactics in today’s dynamic business environment.

This second symposium was held on 10th November at their Beijing Headquarters with an attendance of over 300 delegates. Prof Malcolm Clench was one of the invited speakers at this event and gave a talk on the role of mass spectrometry imaging in pharmaceutical research. The talk featuring some of the work that SHU has carried out imaging the distribution of drugs and metabolites in biological tissues and included work that had been carried out in collaboration with Quotient Bioanalysis the UK bioanalytical company that was recently acquired by Pharmaron.
