This project investigates societal and cultural challenges (and potential approaches to help overcome those challenges) to development and deployment of industrial decarbonisation technologies and related infrastructure. Taking a just transition perspective, the study involves a review of existing understanding of these challenges in different contexts, and qualitative research with stakeholders and residents in the Humber region. Findings will support development of the Humber Industrial Cluster Plan.
