This is increasing interest in how city regions can generate ‘inclusive growth’ where the jobs and wealth created by economic growth benefit lower income groups and areas, and contribute towards goals around tackling poverty and inequality. CRESR is supporting the Sheffield City Region team to develop an inclusive growth strategy as part of its efforts to produce a new Strategic Economic Plan and Local Industrial Strategy.
