Physiotherapy courses

Train and qualify for a rewarding career on our physiotherapy courses. You’ll study key concepts of professional practice, building therapeutic relationships and models of health, illness and disability in physiotherapy. And because the Department of Allied Health Professionals is one of the biggest of its kind in the UK, you'll get significant experience of cross-discipline working practices, preparing you for fast-paced work in multi-professional healthcare teams.

Our Health and Care Professions Council-accredited BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree will qualify you to apply for registration to begin a career as a physiotherapist. We also offer several specialist masters-level courses, some with part-time and distance learning options. All of our programmes are developed in consultation with our partners in the sector, including NHS trusts, private healthcare companies and commissioning groups.

If you're interested in completing a research degree in this area, you can find out about the PhD and MPhil courses we offer in health and social care.
