Return to Practice Bursary

Financial support for students enrolled on the Return to Practice course.

Overview

Health Education England (HEE) provides a non-repayable bursary to support eligible students enrolled onto the Return to Practice course for nurses preparing to re-register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

The University administer this bursary on behalf of HEE.

What you could receive

Eligible students will be awarded a bursary of £1,000 paid in two equal instalments. It is expected that these payments will be made in October and February.

How and when to apply

If you are eligible to receive the Return to Practice bursary, we will contact you directly shortly after you have enrolled and ask you to complete a short bursary claim form.

What happens next

After you have submitted your bursary claim form, we will contact you to confirm your payment amounts and dates.
