You’ll be fully supported throughout your time here, in your first few weeks you’ll meet advisers who'll get to know your needs and interests – giving you a personal support service right through to graduation and beyond.
You are allocated a named Student Support Adviser (SSA) who will work closely with your Academic Adviser and Employability Adviser to provide a seamless support offer. Your Student Support Adviser recognises that it isn’t always easy to manage your academic studies alongside day-to-day life, they are here to listen and advise you on a range of issues and what other specialist services you should access across the university. The services are all confidential and non-judgemental. If you need help, you can go to any Hallam Help Point and attend the Student Support Adviser drop-in which runs every day between 9:30-12:30 and 1:30-3:30 in Owen Building (Level 5) and Collegiate Campus. Note: you may not see your named SSA at a drop-in. If you wish to make an appointment with your named SSA, you can do this by booking on UniHub or at any Hallam Help Point.
