This session will seek to separate the myths from the facts about asylum seekers. We will explore the challenges refugees face in the UK and how the Government has responded. We will also discuss why all humans should have dignity and safety beyond borders.
Presented by: Helen Paskins, adviser for students from refugee backgrounds at Sheffield Hallam, (MA Applied Human Rights).
