Sheffield Hallam University's Progression and Award Boards are held at the point that students have a full academic profile for their level of study.
The purpose of Progression and Award Boards is to confirm accurate results for students who are:
- progressing to the next level of study
- achieving an award or academic credit
The role of Progression and Award Boards are to:
- confirm that all assessment has been conducted in accordance with the current course document and approved module descriptors
- ensure that the assessment and marking of students has been conducted in accordance with University regulations (and PSRB requirements where appropriate).
Outcomes of Progression and Award Boards
Continuing students
Students will receive an email following the Progression and Award Board confirming their programme of study for the next academic year.
Students who have completed their course
Final degree classifications will be shown on student’s results transcripts in My Student Record.
Accessing module results
Module results can be accessed via student’s results transcripts in My Student Record.
