Student conduct

You are a Sheffield Hallam student on and off campus. It's important that you help to create a safe and supportive environment by championing and adhering to our student conduct rules and regulations.  Our Student Code of Conduct states you must:

  • Behave in a responsible manner.
  • Act with honesty and integrity.
  • Treat others in a considerate and courteous way and with mutual respect, including in your communications and use of social media.
  • Respect the rights of others (including rights of free speech and academic freedom within the law).
  • Act as responsible members of the local community in which you live, and behave as a considerate neighbour.
  • Comply with University regulations, policies, procedures and codes of practice.
  • Abide by the law.
  • Adhere to University safeguarding guidelines during placement.
