Best in Show recognises the best exhibition of work by a university at the D&AD New Blood Festival and has been won by Sheffield Hallam University students two years in a row.

The New Blood Festival is an international exhibition and showcase which brings together industry and new creative talent.

The event features over 40 exhibiting university courses, exhibitions from previous award winners, talks from industry leaders and portfolio reviews.

Graphic Design student, Christopher Andrea, said: “The D&AD event gave me the greatest opportunity to network. Spending the past two days speaking to industry professionals and getting advice on what it takes to make it, was a great eye opener for me and allowed me to gain a whole new perspective on what I’m wanting to achieve - and how to do so.

“It was also a great final bonding experience for myself and my peers, spending one final trip with the students and lecturers we’ve given the past three years of our lives to. Such an incredible send off into professional life!”

Georgia Burns, Senior Lecturer in Graphic Design at Sheffield Hallam University, said: “The third-year tutors are proud of the students for their dedication and creating fantastic graphic design projects made the stand at D&AD New Blood so strong. They worked hard, supported each other, and stayed focused on networking and representing themselves, peers and the university to industry professionals. Winning Best Stand feels great!”
