The Tetley Open: Artists' Film is an evening of short films and moving image work selected from an open call for submissions to artists based in the North of England. The selection includes Esther Johnson's short film 'Chalk Trace', originally commissioned by Film London for Channel Four television.

The event is part of the Leeds International Film Festival 2016. You can read more about it on the gallery's website here. Admission is free and all are welcome.

Esther Johnson is a UK-based artist and filmmaker whose research practice explores documentary portraiture through moving image, audio and photography. She is a Reader in Media Arts at Sheffield Hallam University.
