Dr Dolamulla is a visiting research fellow and has joined the centre for the next 12 months from Sri Lanka. The topic of this research collaboration is to work with Dr Anil Gumber on two peer-reviewed manuscripts.

(1) This will be a theoretical with comparison of healthcare delivery system in UK and Sri Lanka for People with Long-term conditions.

(2) Cost and burden of treatment of Parkinson’s in UK - an analysis of anonymised quantitative data in greater details.  Dr Dolamulla will also spend one or two days per week in the Centre for Leadership in Health and Social Care to understand better UK healthcare management and delivery system under the supervision of Dr Jill Aylott.

We also envisage that  Dr Dolamulla will further explore his research interests with Sheffield Business School (particularly with Professor If Price) on Logistic Management in the NHS.
