Digital Manufacturing
The use of additive manufacturing and 3D printing, which has been in development over the last 30 years, is steadily becoming the norm for many companies in order to produce complete and complex product prototypes, as well as undertake small batch production. Find out more about the research opportunities in this very innovative and rewarding field of manufacturing research.
Mercury Intrusion Porosimetry
Mercury porosimetry analysis is the progressive intrusion of mercury into a porous structure under controlled pressures. From the pressure versus intrusion data, the instrument generates volume and size distributions using the Washburn equation.
