Eleanor Formby joined Sheffield Hallam University as a researcher in February 2003. She has over 20 years' experience in (predominantly qualitative) social research and evaluation. Her areas of expertise sit at the intersection of education, sociology, and LGBT studies. Specific research interests relate to the life experiences of young LGBT+ people.

Low-cost thin film solar cell
A research opportunity for postgraduate students providing training and experience in a wide range of topics related to the development of solar cells. They will also carry out this research in their home universities and start to replicate 'solar villages' in their own countries after completion of their PhD programme
