Anna’s main role is to evaluate the Public Health England Moving Healthcare Professionals Programme, which aims to embed physical activity within primary and secondary care.

Anna is part of the teaching team for several modules, mainly in the fields of Biological and Cognitive Psychology. She is also module leader for Cognitive Psychology, Biopsychology and Developmental Disorders of Reading and Language.

Anna Lester

Anna is a Registered Nutritionist and Course Leader for BSc (Hons) Nutrition Diet and Lifestyle and BSc (Hons) Nutrition and Public Health. She has been a lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University since 2008. Anna has also been involved in a variety of research projects focusing on weight management, behaviour change and physical activity, including programmes such as Small Changes, Be Active, and Moving Forward.
