This year will be the 26th Sheffield Varsity event. From its small beginnings in 1997, the annual sporting competition between Sheffield Hallam and the University of Sheffield is one of the most anticipated dates in the student calendar and is said to be one of the largest varsity tournaments in the UK. Dates for your calendars! Varsity 2024 will take place from 20 March to 24 April. This year we're starting strong with Ice Hockey as the first event! Here’s some key fixtures you definitely don't want to miss:
- Ice Hockey, Wednesday 20 March.
- Boxing, Monday 15 April.
- Sports Park Day, Wednesday 17 April.
- Basketball & Netball, Wednesday 24 April.
