Fuelled by a desire to improve the future of the logistics industry, in 2018 we launched a degree apprenticeship with GXO - a tailored version of our BA (Hons) Professional Practice in Supply Chain programme developed with GXO.

The apprenticeship programme, which started in 2018 with 15 apprentices has grown to over 100 in 2024, with an additional 50 new apprentices starting later this year.

Our degree apprentices at GXO gain on-the-job, real-world experience across warehousing, e-commerce and returns management, and departments like Human Resources, Finance, and Health & Safety.

Hear from our our apprentice, Mel Jacobsen who shares their experience of earning and learning with GXO and Sheffield Hallam.
