Assessment
Task 1: Written reflective essay. Reflection is a key skill that nurses and midwives possess; they are required to produce written reflections as part of triennial PSRB revalidation, so this method is authentic in relation to their professional role, but also will enable them to demonstrate their learning, much of which will involve reflection.
Task 2: Poster. It is expected students studying at level 7 will consider conference attendance and presentation, and development of a professional poster is therefore a useful skill, as well as affording students the opportunity to demonstrate they meet the module learning outcomes.
Successful completion of this module will earn you 20 level 7 credits
