'Photographing a music festival is all about that one moment.'

Thanks to our partnership with Tramlines festival, Film and Media Production student Victoria Greensmith worked behind the scenes at the 2015 event, interviewing the bands, filming and taking photos. Her work was shown in between the acts on the big screens at the main stage.

'I'd taken photos at gigs before, but Tramlines was my first big festival, and I learnt so much. It's real hands-on experience, and that can't be taught.

'It's all about that one moment. You can’t stop and try again. When the band's manager comes in and says "you have 5 minutes" you have to be professional and get it right the first time.

'Tramlines taught me so much about how to be a photographer. I would never have had that experience if it wasn't for Sheffield Hallam.'
