We have added new dates for student-led campus tours in July. If you are unable to book a campus tour on your favoured date, you can book onto one of our on campus open days or browse our YouTube Playlist which features virtual tours of our campuses and facilities.
Join us on campus for a student-led tour to see what Sheffield Hallam University has to offer.
- View our facilities and learning spaces
- Take a self-guided walk around the city
- Visit an example of our student accommodation
- Chat to your student tour guide to find out more about life studying at Hallam
All of our tours will be socially distanced and limited to small groups. To ensure the safety of all attendees please check our visiting campus page before booking and adhere to social distancing guidelines throughout your tour. To keep all visitors safe, you must only attend your booked session. Guests not booked onto a session may not be granted access to campus on the day.
Please get in touch if you have any difficulties with your booking or need additional support.
Tour schedule and types
Our campus tours run from Friday 21st May throughout the summer. The majority of the tours happen Wednesdays and Fridays however some tours may not fall on these days as we plan around other activities and events, such as Bank Holidays or Open Days. There are two types of tours you can book on to:
- Campus tours from City campus (10:00-15:00) and Collegiate campus (10:30-15:30)
- Accommodation tours from City campus (11:00-15:00) and from Collegiate campus (11:30-15:30).
Tours last around 45 min - 1 hour. If you are planning to book tours at both campuses, please allow at least 30 minutes to walk from one to the other. We are not offering live city centre tours at this time.
Please note, as tours fill up we will update the booking forms below. We are planning to run more tours throughout the summer, so please keep checking back as we add more dates.
What you will see on your tour
During our campus tours, you will visit the main areas of our campuses, including our learning and social spaces where you will study.
If you attend an accommodation tour, you will be shown an example of one of our wide range of residences. On the way there and back, the ambassador will point out the locations of other central accommodation complexes, but unfortunately we can't show you around more than one. You can see our full range of residences online including their own 360 degree tours.
You can book a tour through our booking form no matter what stage you at in your application, even if you're just beginning your journey. Please do not turn up to a tour slot without booking.
To keep guests and staff safe, you can bring 1 guest and they should all be from the same household or bubble. Tours will be delivered in small groups.
Please check out our Visiting Campus Guidance for up to date information about how we are keeping you safe when on campus.
