We are a national centre of education, recognised for our excellence and innovation in teaching and learning. We're passionate about investing our expertise and resources in a wide range of education studies.
Our work is embedded in practice and delivered by working in partnership to respond to the needs of educational employers. Everything we do is informed by broad, cutting-edge research by leading academics and expert practitioners, across many related disciplines.
From early years through to higher education - at every level from foundation degree to post-doctoral – we're a hub for excellence, innovation and knowledge advancement in childhood and young people’s development and learning.
Nowhere is that more evident than in our dedicated Autism Centre, which provides publications, accredited courses and nationwide workshops, talks and lectures for the benefit of people on the autism spectrum, their families and industry professionals.
We're renowned for our collaborative and inclusive approach. Our academics, researchers and partners in schools - alongside the wider education sector - work together to produce skilled, committed and professional graduates, many of whom return to us throughout their careers to further their professional development.
Sheffield Hallam is exceptionally forward-looking, eager to engage with change in a dynamic and responsive way in order to meet the developing needs of trainees and partnership schools.
