School Direct

School Direct allows you to choose the school, or partnership of schools, that you'll be trained in. You will be further supported by training from Sheffield Hallam University. The intention is that when you complete the PGCE you will be employed to teach in the school, or another school in the partnership.

We're the fourth largest provider of School Direct training nationally – and the largest by some measure in the region. This has allowed us to develop an approach to School Direct which truly supports the needs of the schools, while providing academic rigour and expertise.
