Summary
An experienced sales and marketing executive, moved into academia to share my business learning with students. Currently Senior Lecturer, teaching business and marketing modules within the undergraduate, postgraduate, corporate and international programmes. Collaborative Course Leader for Sheffield Hallam University and TAR UC in Malaysia Dual Awards for the Department of Management and the Department of Service Sector Management.
Winner of the Best Doctoral Poster at 2015 Sheffield Business School Doctoral Conference. Currently studying my Doctorate in Business Administration at Sheffield Hallam University. My research area is a marketing discipline; the co-creation of value in category management relationships between food manufacturers and retailers. As an ex-retailer with Asda Stores plc and growing up in a 100 year old family butcering and bakery retailing business, retail is my passion and area of research interest. As such I am happy to work with other academics with similar interests and passion, for example I am co-writing a research paper with a colleague in Paris: Corporate Social Responsibility in retailing.
A Fellow and Chartered Marketer of Chartered Institute of Marketing, and privileged to attend 2011 CIM Centenary Dinner at Windsor Castle hosted by HRH Duke of Edinburgh.
