We are pleased to announce that two of our doctoral students completed their PhDs in the last few weeks.

Marina Liaskos and Yasitha Illangasekera have already completed their minor amendments and their PhD has been confirmed.

Marina's PhD is entitled 'The Role of the Urothelial Mucosa in Bladder Mechanosensation' and her supervisory team consisted of Dr Neil McKay, Dr Kim Lawson, and Dr Gail Haddock.

The title of Yasitha's PhD is 'Genetic polymorphisms and lifestyle factors associated with obesity in Sri Lankans', his director of studies was Dr Caroline Dalton.
